How to Care for your Olann Products

Olann uses delicate yarns to knit their products, that require special care. It is advised to wash your item as little as possible, and to spot clean when needed. Dry cleaning is recommended.

I recommend wearing a base layer beneath your item to keep it clean form the inside. If you are confident and comfortable wet washing your item, then use a wool soak that does not require rinsing, such as Eucalan No Rinse or Soak No Rinse laundry soap. Do not agitate your item in the water. Press dry with a towel. Do not rub or ring out your item. Lay your item out flat to dry and reshape when wet.

The fibres Olann uses may pill or shed. This process occurs naturally and often reduces over time. You can use a little pair of scissors or delicate wool shaver to gently remove any fluff. Or embrace your pills for extra character!

The Roulé Collection uses a super soft mohair/wool blended yarn. The fibres may shed at first since they are so fluffy, but this shedding will lessen over time.
