Haven is Olann’s signature cardigan. Made from the softest Merino Wool from Malabrigo Yarns, it isn’t itchy, and is incredibly warm and cozy. The cardigan has a generous sleeve, which is wide enough to fit another finer garment underneath, so it can be worn like a coat. The sleeve can be knit to a bracelet or 3/4 length, so please select your preferred option at check-out. Haven has great directional stitching details that create a flattering silhouette, with lovely textured stitches down the sides to add interest. This cardigan is slightly cropped, open at the front, without buttons. I recommend wearing this cardigan over dresses, jumpsuits, blouses and pants.

Because Haven is made from gorgeous Merino Wool, extra care is needed to ensure it remains in tip top shape. I recommend that your garment is folded when not in use. Natural fibres can pill with wear, which is a natural process and not to be feared. To keep your cardigan looking great, you can use small scissors or a wool shaver to remove any unwanted fluff. Or, if you prefer, embrace the pills!

Note on colour:

Malabrigo makes the loveliest wool, but they do not supply their wool in dye-lots. I do my best to transition between one skein of wool and another as seamlessly as possible, and to choose enough matching skeins to complete each project. But sometimes more noticeable colour changes are visible. I hope you will love these quirks as a sign of the handmade nature of your product. If you have concerns about this, please do reach out at the time of ordering.
