Ode is Olann’s quintessential vest slipover. Knit using beautiful Watershed yarn from Hinterland Yarns. Located on Pender Island, Hinterland grows their own fibres from Alpacas and Rambouillet sheep, and Watershed is a 50/50 mix of both. This vest is designed to be cropped, and slightly over-sized, so you can wear it over your favourite dresses, tops and jumpsuits. The neckline is folded, for a soft, comfortable and elegant look. Ode has a deep armhole, designed so even your most voluminous sleeves will fit beneath, without bunching. The armhole tapers at the bottom so it fits beautifully, and is painstakingly cast-off using the Italian Method, for a truly hand-crafted finish. The embroidery down the back of the vest represents a river: something powerful that forges its own path. Ode is a story of perseverance, determination, tenacity and dedication. It’s about writing your own story, changing the narrative and finding the light. There are no details on Ode that haven’t been carefully considered.
