Cedar. Versatile, elegant, classic. This stunning vest is knit using Watershed from Hinterland Yarns, a 50/50 Alpaca and Rambouillet wool from Pender Island. Knit in Garter Stitch for a linear and traditional style, this vest can be worn open or closed. Designed to fall off the shoulder and cross over at the front, the sizing is generous and flexible. The armhole is quite deep, so you can fit even voluminous sleeves beneath, and the neckline is a soft V-neck shape. The corners at the front opening of the vest are gently rounded, for a nod to softness and curvature. Both the armholes and the entire outside edge of Cedar are finished with the most beautiful hand knit edging, which is truly elegant. A knit belt is included, with belt holes at the underarm, designed to sit at the true waist, so you can cross the fronts over and cinch in it, leave the belt hanging, or tie it to the back to wear the vest open. Cedar is the ultimate hand knit wardrobe staple. Modern. Traditional. Practical.

Note that the studio photographs show the Cedar vest in Snow and Truffle. Truffle is a beautiful brown/grey melange, while Maple is a lighter brown hue.
